ArtSlam at ArtSpace Falls Church

Show Opens July 11, Runs through August 30

To celebrate the opening of FCA's new home, ArtSpace Falls Church, FCA member artists working in all media will exhibit in July and August.

  • Show Opening: Saturday, July 11, 2009, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
  • Show Continues: through Sunday, August 30
  • Gallery Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; Saturday–Sunday, noon to 4:00 pm

Art in the Park at Cherry Hill

Summer Concerts in the Park provide showcase for FCA member artists

Once again, summer Thursday evenings will find FCA artists at Falls Church City's very popular Summer Concerts in the Park. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, meet the artists, and enjoy the music.

  • June 25: Caroline Urbania paintings, 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Music by Falls Church Concert Band begins at 7:00 pm
  • July 2: Antonio Chaves photographs, 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Music by local favorite Andrew Acosta and the New Old Time String Band begins at 7:00 pm
  • July 9: Fran Bell Simms watercolors, 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Irish music by Mad for the Road begins at 7:00 pm
  • July 16: Bev Rocco paintings, 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Music by Orange Line begins at 7:00 pm
  • July 23: Kathleen Rogers paintings, 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Bluegrass music by Randy Barrett and the Barretones begins at 7:00 pm
  • July 30: Denise Philipbar paintings and sculpture, 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Rockabilly music by Hamburger James begins at 7:00 pm
  • August 6: Kate Dodd paintings, 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Blues and rock music concert by WAMMIE award winner Tom Principato begins at 7:00 pm
